A House Built for Stillness
Rooted in the quiet pine crests of Nathia Gali — designed for sanctuary, slow meals, and mountain air.
Two Passions Under One Roof
We built House of Grey out of a simple, persistent craving: to find a place in the Galyat where mountain solitude didn't mean compromising on deliberate design or exceptional food. For years, traveling up from the city meant choosing between rugged mountain cabins or hurried commercial dining. We envisioned something quiet, grounded, and deeply refined — a single estate where luxury accommodation and thoughtful fireside dining exist in total harmony.
Nestled amongst mature blue pines and cold alpine mists, the villa was constructed using local stone, dark timber accents, and clean modern lines. We wanted every window frame to act as a quiet canvas for the changing forest seasons — from the lush monsoon greens to the stark, still white of deep winter snows. Here, time moves at a fundamentally different pace.
Whether you are sharing an intimate dinner at The Grey or waking up to the smell of damp pine needles from your private terrace, our host team is dedicated to a philosophy of soft, unhurried hospitality. House of Grey is not just a destination; it is an invitation to slow down and listen to the mountains.

Operating in an eco-sensitive mountain ecosystem requires mindfulness. At House of Grey, we strive to keep our environmental footprint light so that the natural majesty of Nathia Gali remains undisturbed for generations to come.
We prioritize local sourcing for our kitchen at The Grey, partnering with local highland farms and regional artisanal suppliers. Our estate actively implements strict water conservation practices, plastic-minimization initiatives, and energy-efficient climate control systems built specifically for high-altitude timber structures.
